..:: Enabling Growth and Innovation for SMEs Proceedings from IKED/INSME
The report sums up key findings from the IKED/INSME International Roundtable Meeting that took place in Malmö and Helsingborg, February 2004. It aims to identify main factors in sustaining the potential of SMEs facing the challenges of globalisation in the knowledge-based society, and discusses how public and private key stakeholders can be motivated to join forces to ensure the concreteness and sustainability of measures and initiatives that improve the SME environment and the related policy framework. The International Roundtable brought together around 80 policy makers, international organisations, NGOs and intermediaries from 23 countries.
